A Truestory gift card has a fixed value (an amount) and acts as payment when you buy experiences on our platform.
How to do it:
- Go to the market you wish to purchase on (www.truestory.com) and find the experience you want to buy.
- Go to the cart and proceed to payment.
- Under the section “Complete your order”, choose ‘Pay with’ and then ‘Truestory gift card’.
- Enter your gift card code and click “Apply”.
The value of your gift card will now automatically be deducted from the price of the experience.
Frequently asked questions about paying with a gift card:
- What happens if the experience costs less than my gift card? If you do not use the entire amount at once, the remaining balance stays on the gift card. You can easily use the rest on another purchase later – as long as it is before the gift card’s expiry date.
- What happens if the experience costs more than my gift card? If the price of the experience exceeds the value of the gift card, you simply pay the remaining balance with a payment card at checkout.
- Can I use multiple gift cards on the same order? No, unfortunately, our payment system can only accept one gift card code per purchase. It is therefore not possible to combine or use multiple gift cards on the same order.
