What is the cancellation policy?

What is the cancellation policy?

When you book a date for an experience, your order becomes a ticket reservation with a specific host. The booking is binding, which means:

  • You cannot generally switch to a different experience.
  • The ticket will not be refunded if you are unable to attend.
  • You can transfer the ticket to another person — except for experiences involving planes, helicopters, or hot air balloons.

What is the cancellation deadline for my experience?

Cancellation rules vary from experience to experience. You can always find the specific terms in two places:

  • On the experience page — look below the “Book now” button. This clearly shows whether your booking can be cancelled, and if so, within what timeframe (e.g. number of hours or days).
  • In your booking confirmation — the email you received when you completed your booking.

If the experience is non-refundable, this will also be clearly stated on the product page and in your booking confirmation.

What are the general terms?

Cancellation is only possible if it takes place within the deadlines and terms that apply to the specific experience. Please note that cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
